Chris and I recently booked a last minute weekend trip at Cove Point Lodge in Beaver Bay, Minnesota. We both needed a break, but there was more to our agenda than just a quick getaway. Do you ever take a vacation and when you get home you need a second vacation just to recover from everything you did? A little secret: when we travel together we're pretty intimidating. We go 100% so that we can experience and see as much as possible during the time we're away. If the city were visiting has a CityPASS, we purchase it and see every stereotypical thing there is to see all within the same day of the plane landing. Due to a scheduling error, we only planned one full day in Washington - let that be a lesson to always confirm you have the right dates booked! While Anita and Chris were checking out some of the tourist aspects of Seattle, Kyle actually has family that lives in Washington so we decided to spend the morning with them and then do some sightseeing in the afternoon.
We were on the road at 5:00 am to avoid traffic which felt extra early since we've been going non-stop. After an early breakfast and a few hours with Kyle's family, we made our way to Mt. Rainier. We used the app AllTrails and headed towards Burroughs Mountain Loop Trail.Read More
