We've been working hard to get healthy this year and decided to take advantage of the extra hour of daylight this weekend by taking our workout outdoors. As long as I can remember, I've always been labeled as the skinny girl. People would joke, “Do you even eat?” “It's windy out, be careful you don’t blow away.” No matter shape or size; we all have insecurities of ourselves and one of mine was pointed out all the time by people I loved and by people that I didn't even know. I don’t think anyone actually understood that I was hurt by their comments nor do I think anyone meant any harm by them. None the less, I was tired of being the “fragile” one. With the holidays fast approaching, for me this always becomes a time of reflecting. When Anita and I first discussed starting a blog together, we agreed to incorporate parts of our lives that may be difficult to talk about with the hopes of connecting with and helping at least one reader. We wanted Restored Daily to be a lifestyle blog built around living a healthy and fulfilled life and to show aspects of who we are and the diversities that we've faced.
Without question, the last four years have been some of the hardest in my life. In 2013, a distracted driver failed to stop and hit my car in the process.
